Research into the creation of shapes.
Architupe shapes are three dimensional manipulated by a formula that generates shapes on the computer. A new world of shapes is created in which the shapes have an associative effect or inspiration. This leads to an approach to design whereby ‘shape is the inspiration source for a functional object’. Each shape can be read into the scale the interpreter wishes to see.

The little cupboard is my personal interpretation of the quantity of shapes created in my research, created using the outline of a clothes peg.

This project was completed in 1997.
